What might interest us?   Laurent Straskraba: People who are willing to do good for society can only fulfill their work if they can access necessary resources and cover the costs.[...] This just brought me to the idea to remind you on the model of "Social
Entrepreneurs". Do all of you know this model? Take a look at www.changemakers.net to learn more about it. To spin this even more - wouldn´t we like to become a "Netpreneur"? Take a look at www.netpreneur.org

What might interest us?   "The Meatrix" is a clever animated short on behalf of farm animals, those who eat them, and small farmers. With a red pill of truth leading to actions that we can take. How might we phrase this as an endeavor that fosters "caring about thinking"?

What might interest us?   Flemming Funch: One of Edward de Bono's numerous contributions to the discipline of creative thinking is the six thinking hats. The idea is basically that you are aware of what thinking and communication mode you are in - what hat you are wearing. That puts things in perspective, sorts statements in a meaningful way, and makes it less likely that people misunderstand each other. E.g. if you're wearing the black hat, you might be playing devil's advocate, and put attention on things that might not work. If that is clear, and announced up front, it is likely that people will take less offense to the criticism, and it is more likely to be useful. If you announce you're wearing a red hat, irrational emotional outbursts are more acceptable, and don't necessarily have to be analyzed logically. Etc. You can have a meeting using that system. Or you can use it in brainstorming, to categorize different kinds of ideas.

What might interest us?   Flemming Funch: Bluetooth seems to be becoming a really cool thing. Even though I haven't succeeded in getting very far with it myself. For the uninitiated, Bluetooth is a standard that allows cellphones, headsets, handhelds, laptops, or whatever, to communicate wirelessly with each other over short distances, like when they're within the same room. [...] A Swedish programmer came up with a way of using his cellphone for remote controlling his Macintosh.

At over 30K US, it's not all that expensive either. Lots of attention to detail, and a very powerfull tool for high-powered teams and workgroups. If i was going to start a 10-30 person operation, using mostly highly skilled and educated people, a this is a tool i'd very seriously building into the working methodology of my business.
