MindJET are very interested in the possibilities for interchange of
structured information between the
various environments that exist today. We too believe that it is possible
for critical information to become
associated with or even trapped within a particular technology, and
that breaking these barriers is a
crucial step towards giving users freedom to work in the environment
which suits the needs of their
project, their working style, the way they think and create, and their
way of collaborating and
communicating. No one tool can be the answer to everything. This is
the reason that the Open Interface
has been developed for MindManager, to facilitate this kind of solution
within the wider context of other
techniques and tools.
My role here is to provide support for the use of the MindManager Open
Interface in these developments,
and to contribute to the formulation of an interchange standard. I
look forward to working with you all.
