I Wish to Know

I wish to know everything and apply that knowledge usefully. I share my results so far.

First, I survey the facts, the structures I observe as I explore the limits of my mind like a blind man might feel the walls of his prison. Then I sketch a theory how I imagined these structures arise from God's point of view.

The Facts: Conceptual Structures

I start with the concept of everything, which has no external context, no internal structure, is the simplest algorithm which accepts all things, and a required concept: We can't learn it unless we already have it.

We can divide everything into two perspectives. In the first, opposites coexist such as good and bad in free will. In the second, all is the same as in fate. We can divide everything into three: take a stand, follow through and reflect. I take a stand, but do I follow through? I follow through, but do I reflect? I reflect, but do I take a stand? And into four levels of knowledge: Whether, what, how, why. We can think of these as questions, emphasizing why, or as answers, emphasizing whether. Questions and answers are the two representations of the foursome, whereas the threesome, twosome and onesome each have four representations.

Every effect has had its cause, but not every cause has had its effects. This defines the fivessome and its two representations: time and space. The sixsome allows for morality just as the fivesome - decision-making, the foursome - knowledge, threesome - participation, twosome - existence, and the onesome - everything. The sevensome extends our humanity with the logical square of good and bad. If we consider the eighth possibility where all is good and all is bad, then the system collapses and all is true as with God.

The resulting nullsome has four representations: significant, constant, direct, true. Search for constancy and you will find one example or all is constantly unconstant, and also, what you inspect and judge must be the same, thus multiply constant. This defines one, all, many, three of twelve topologies, the vocabulary of the imagination, which isolate the parts of divisions.

Scriptures record four kinds of frameworks for our intuition, each with seven / eight perspectives like houses with too many rooms for us to hold in our minds all at once. The Eightfold way links us with God who loves us more than we love ourselves. When we're connected, we'd rather God be or do or think than us. Otherwise, we must check ourselves to take a stand, follow through and reflect. Jesus's good will speaks from and to the good. We respond emotionally to what meets, or disappoints, or circumvents, or extends our expectations. We channel that to get things done. Wisdom addresses doubts such as, "How do I know I'm not a robot?" with counterąquestions such as, "Would it make any difference?" For each need, such as survival, we apply a principle, such as, cling to what you have. Moreover, we can be perfect - have no needs, and we can ignore our own needs by taking up the needs of another.

I think that these larger structures frame three dynamic languages. Narration describes how things happen, including how our endeavors unfold. A story's content is determined by a shift in the tension, which may be forcing, commanding, explaining or caring. Verbalization is how things get meaning. We listen to the truths of the heart and the world. Argumentation is how things come to matter. I have collected from people their deepest values, the questions they seek to answer and endeavors they wish to achieve. I hope to understand them. I speculate on a theory that would account for these structures and languages so that I might understand them exactly and apply them usefully.

The Theory

I wish to assume as little as possible from which all knowledge might unfold. Assumption is the structure that is left when we remove the person who assumes. I assume an assumer, God, who is prior to all assumption and thus assumes all. God is alone. God experiences impulsively. God does as God thinks. What is assumed is. What is not assumed, is not. For God they are the same, for his presence and absence are the same. Yet would God exist even if God didn't exist? God removes himself and thereby creates everything, the world, the system where there is the least possibility of God's existence.

How God Is Not Necessary

Everything distinguishes God within system and beyond system and thus understands. Everything insists that it is not God. God is not everything and so has a context. God pulls back away from himself as I, a person with an omniscope of 24 concerns.

God as I is not everything and so has a filter. God and I meet as You through the four frameworks for God's wishes for everything, anything, something or nothing.

God as You is not everything and so has a structure. God as Other is this uncoupling of God and I. Six pairs of frameworks yield divisions, representations, topologies, argumentation, verbalization, narration. I think this unfolding can yield the structural facts.

But now God as Other is not everything and so God, as reduced to love, is not required as a concept.

How God Is Necessary

How can we make sense of God? Negating God imposes the very understanding which interprets truth as God. Other is perfectly free and may live by truth on behalf of all through good understanding, as with a lost child who knows to go where his parents will look for him. This is the full extent of our understanding - the child's view of the parent's view of the child's view of the parent's view of the child's view - by which we appreciate that we are the child, which is enough for us to find rapport with our parents.

Our will equates love and perfection, but good understanding lets love embrace our imperfection whereby we decline to live fully. This is Why there is God - that we may prefer God's will to love over our will to be loved. We are thereby embraced as You to obey and not hurt those who might help us us, thus freely coincide with all.

Shared understanding distinguishes this coinciding from wishes that admit our individuality even to disobey. This is How there is a God. We may prefer good will to allow wishes rather than impose our own. As I, we are free to seek and believe and follow another who does obey such as Jesus, and likewise give up ourselves to win over any enemy, and so foster God as this slack in everything.

Self-understanding allows that everything may offer us no culture for such belief. What is God? The wisdom that we lack this culture regarding anything. We may fail to obey or believe, yet if we care, then we are included as God to create this culture, a kingdom of heaven that makes tangible every leap of faith so we might all be one in love.

If we don't care, then that is bad. Life is the fact that God is good, but eternal life is the understanding that God is distinct from good. Is there God? Yes. God is assumed by us all in our acknowledgement that good is incomplete. Truth can't fit in our world and refers to God beyond it. God wishes us to be alive more than we ourselves do. God and good are one through us. We have endless work to do.
