* Look for sequences, hierarchies and networks in the brain.
* Develop a theory of memory.

[++What Do Minds Require of Brains?++]

[[Attach:BrainFunction.png | Attach:BrainFunction800.png]]

Main ideas:
* Mind is the "top down" dual of the "bottom up" brain. Evolution supports both.
* Mind requires the brain to support a dialogue by different advocates. The brain can implement the requirements idiosyncratically in the particulars. However, evolution ever reflects the general requirements. The idiosyncratic implementation provides the variety of solutions which then allow for qualitative leaps in evolution.
* Role of the conscious vs. unconscious and how they communicate with each other: body - unconscious; mind - conscious speaks to the unconscious; heart - unconscious speaks to the conscious; will - conscious. Locate these!

[+Notes+]

The robust and necessary multiplicity and ambiguity in implementation is why evolution is thus necessarily repeated in our personal genesis in the womb.

Flexible soft-wiring gives way to hard-wiring (creating "fixed action patterns"?) which we then have to rationalize.

Sixsome expresses how we internalize fixed action patterns.

* Dividing the global workspace.
* Trumpalaikė atmintis banguoja, susidaro iš įvarių bangų, užtat galime pereiti iš vienos minties į kitą, ir mintys grįžta. Bet kenkia proto neskaidrumas.
* Atminčiai reikia išeiti (tangent - septynerybe) ir sugrįžti (nulybe).
* Resource management - leverage internal memory, conflate personal memory, external memory, environment, culture. Focus on unknown but that changes.
* The sixsome (internalization) creates new fixed action patterns.
