Kokia sąmoningumo svarba?

意识

Koks yra sąmoningumo tikslas?

Kaip įvairiai elgesys gali būti sąmoningas?

Kas yra sąmoningumas?

Žinojimo (sąmonės) ir nežinojimo (pasąmonės) derinimas

Veiksmas +3

Knowing: associative mind identifies p and b. Not knowing: Diassociative mind distinguishes p and b. For learning we need back and forth between semantic and syntactic minds.

Can system 2 learn on its own? AI translates language based on system 2. But this way is very inefficient - requires millions of examples - and it just yields a blob-mind, not levels of parsers - and so there is no intentionality in listening or speaking. It is just a mime, iš is just mimicking. True learning requires a clear hypothesis, thus System 1. And instead of "offloading" from conscious to unconscious, we should speak of "duality" of systems 1 and 2.

"Perceptual learning". Perception, Flux and Learning. Casey O'Callahan. Argues with Connolly.

Pasąmonė

Imagination - situation in the absence of others - and a seeking of meaning of our internal experience - a learning process - based on "images" in the sensory sense, as in smoking. So imagination of the perspectives themselves - allows for a universal community.

Visko žinojimas ir to žinojimo gražus taikymas

Dievo tyrimas

Kaip gyventi

Ko naudingo galim pasisemti iš kiekvienos Dievo raiškos

Kaip viską taikyti aplamai. Kaip sąmoningai puoselėti gerumą...

Užrašai

Dievas vienu metu išlaiko skirtingus požiūrius, o mes, asmenys, priešingai, iš kelių renkamės vieną.

Sapne apsiverčia - pasąmonė veda sąmonę. O šiaip gyvenime sąmonė tardo, valdo pasąmonę.

Sąmoningėjame

Pasąmonė, sąmonė, sąmoningumas yra trys lėlininkai (padalinimai yra lėlių teatrai). Jie turi tarpusavio santykius:

Tai primena ženklų savybes. Kaip tada suprasti trejybės ratą?

Sąmonė gimdo pasąmonę.

Įvairūs požiūriai į sąmoningumą

Buračas - Dėmesio nežinomybei sistemos primetimas ir tikrinimas

Giedrius Buračas believes that the mechanism of consciousness is key to all manner of unanswered questions about the brain, just as the discovery of DNA answered so many questions in biology, genetics, biochemistry and evolution. He thinks of it in terms of our system of attention. Our attention focuses on that which is unexpected. It is an entire system that is expecting the unexpected. It is a complex model of our entire life by which we anticipate the unexpected and organize our response. Just as we are ever projecting "what" our entire world is like, so with our attention we are ever projecting "how" it works. Our attention is likewise projecting and checking all of its assumptions. Indeed, this checking takes place through the same cerebral cortex that serves as the medium for such checking, just as in a computer data and programs are stored in the same media, so that programs may be treated as data. Whereas our checking of the world is an interlinked set of disparate checks, our attention is a sparse system for arriving at the unity which we focus on to deal with the unexpected.

Giedrius thinks of consciousness as the projecting and checking of this system of attention as to whether it is working appropriately. I venture that consciousness is projecting and checking the unity of the system of attention. Whenever the system of attention is failing to model the unexpected and cope with it, then the consciousness checks the system of attention and considers whether the world is at fault - verifiably strange things are happening - or our model is at fault - it does not hang together. Our consciousness allows us to persist in conflict with the world and yet to resolve conflict within our model of it. Our consciousness projects and checks "why" the world is as it is.

Goguen: In passing, on your idea of life: ive sometimes thought that "life is the consciousness of god" -- though usually without god.

part due to the movements mentioned above, but mainly (i think) due to new technology for observing the mind at work, e.g., fMRI and PET scans. It has been shown that advanced meditators really do have different minds from the rest of us, and many old myths about memory, perception, emotion, etc. have been deposed. I think we are coming to understand what it means to be human much better than ever before, and along with that, what it means to be alive. So Ibrahim's questions are really very timely, very deep, and very productive!

Sąmoningumo laikinumas

Andrius: I'm curious to hear more about your thought that "life is the consciousness of god", with or without god, and what is the nature of that god, even just as a dummy variable.

The idea that "life is the goodness of God" together with "everlasting life is the understanding of the goodness of God" yields: "everlasting life is the understanding of life".

This does seem close to the self-understanding that relates to consciousness. And it also injects a quality of stepping out, into the everlasting, the absolute. That also seems part of consciousness.

Now I feel confused. I guess I should ask what you mean. Do you mean life is "god's consciousness" or "consciousness of the concept/nature/presence of god"?

Just as a side note, I think of the Trinity as a threesome given by consciousness of the nullsome. God is one, but to be conscious of God, we resort to "taking a stand - following through - reflecting", and in following his will, to obeying or believing or caring.

Pasąmonė skaičiuoja vidurkius. Sąmonė išskiria daugybą ir sudėtį.

I have been finding a place in my philosophy for Kahneman/Tversky's distinction between a fast-thinking System 1 and a slow-thinking System 2. Namely, in my model, we need to have two minds - one for answers (what we unconsciously know) and one for questions (what we consciously don't know). This gives rise to a duality that is the basis for logic (the logical square) which perfectly balances the two approaches. It's also the difference between semantics (what we intuitively know) and syntax (how we manage the variables, the unknowns). Basically, we call this distinction the "unconscious" and the "conscious". I think it's the basis for the right and left hemispheres (one advocates for the intuitive mind that knows, and the other advocates for the rational mind that doesn't know.) Neurologists gave up on that distinction because they discovered huge neurological variations. But they never thought of the hemispheres as "advocates" in a dialogue, whereas they are simply looking at particular implementations, so they can never find such a high-level distinction. I think the two ways of thinking are also the basis for stereotypes of female and male cognition, which seem cross cultural and actually widely acceptable (a bit surprising in our day).

So I've been thinking of studying more closely the various cognitive biases that Kahneman/Tversky discovered. And I thought about your adviser's work.

His work suggests a very simple model:

Then that would make the relationship between the two minds very concrete. "Averaging" models indicate System 1 at work and "adding" and "multiplying" models indicate System 2 at work.

So to investigate that I would need to go through his books and list all the models and see if such a distinction could be made. But I was wondering if there might be a compendium online of his school of thought. But it doesn't seem to be very active.

Minčių sodo laiškai

Goguen: Journal of Consciousness Studies is devoted to this topic. Unlike most science journals, we regularly publish papers that take a religious point of view; unlike new age journals, we are completely rigorous about content; unlike any other journal that i know, we are really interdisciplinary, having published papers based on physics, feminism, mathematics, literature, psychology, philosophy (lots of serious philosophy of mind), neuroscience, biology, art criticism, sociology, medicine, law, computer science, buddhist studies, history, evolution, ......., all rigorously peer reviewed. Science and religion meet here every month, along with the humanities, including even some poetry and art.

2018.05.25 A: Kaip buvimas kartu su tavimi reiškiasi sąmoningumu?

D: Esu už jūsų, taip pat jūsų gelmėse, tad esu tiek jūsų sąmonėje, tiek pasąmonėje. Tad jumis skiriu save.

2018.05.17 A: Kaip man puoselėti savo sąmoningumą?

D: Suvok mano pirmumą tavo atžvilgiu ir vis patirsi savo sąlygiškumą ir tapsi sąmoningesnis atskirdamas besąlygišką sąmonę kuria aš gyvenu, ir sąlygišką pasąmonę, kuria jūs kiekvienas gyvenate. Gyvenk bendrumu, tad būtent manimi. Lai aš gyvenu tavimi. Vis atverk man tą galimybę. Tai ir yra tavo sąmoningumas.

2018.04.12 A: Kaip ryšys su tavimi didina mūsų sąmoningumą?

2018.03.31 A: Kaip savyje ugdyti sąmoningumą?

D: Vis atsisakyk savęs vardan manęs ir kitų ir išsiugdysi drausmingą pasąmonę, o jinai ištisai ir bus tavo sąmoningumo šaltinis. Aš tavimi gyvenu ir šitą vis labiau suvoksi ir būtent man skirsi pirmenybę. Tai ir yra sąmoningumas.

2018.02.27 A: Kodėl svyruoja mūsų sąmoningumo lygis?

2018.02.03 A: Kaip susigalvojami klausimai?

D: Nežinok. Dvejok. Abejok. Išlaikyk ir puoselėk nežinojimą. Suvok žinojimo ribas: ar, koks, kaip, kodėl. Tai atvers nežinojimą, pažinovo požiūrį. Mąstyk sąmoningai, tai gi nežinojimo pasaulėžiūra. Tad mąstyk manimi, pirm visko, kaip man atrodo, pirm visko.

2002.10.02 A: Koks ryšys tarp sąmoningumo ir įgyvendinimo? K: Aš gyvenu pagal savo Tėvo valią, gyvenimo ribose.
